Come On In The Water's Fine

"Come On In The Water's Fine" cowritten with my friend Tommy Patterson was inspired by the life of John The Baptist. The song features the talented Milo Deering (Don Henley's band) on dobro/guitar and fiddle along with Jondan McBride (Aaron Watson band) on guitar/bass and mandolin. We are pleased to announce the song is now available for download! http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/dannybingham17

Time

I read a quote a while back that says you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory...These words are so true..This is a photo of me and Mom just before she passed away a few years ago and this coming January will be three years ago we lost Dad. The holidays to me is a time of reflection and I remember as we got older and left home I would always ask my Mom.. what do you want for Christmas?...her answer was always the same..She just wanted all of her children home at the same time......My Mother knew the value of the word "Time"...Granted there were times when I was out on the road somewhere playing music and couldnt make it home for Christmas..other times I was too busy making a life....Yes I was one of those people who never gave a second thought to losing my Mom or Dad. These last few years have made me realize just how precious our time on this earth can be..I have also come to realize that God has a plan for each and every one of us.Although we cant go back in time we do have memories to cherish as we move on with our lives..God has put a peace in my heart and although I miss my Mom and Dad deeply I have the promise from my heavenly Father that I will see them again...My prayer is that you will find the time as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to spend a little more time with your friends and family and forget the lavish gifts..In reality all they really want is a piece of your time.....Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...God Bless...DB
